Yeah just kinda sucks all Foss operating systems feel like they are stuck in 2011 in some cases.
As far as I’m aware find my on iPhone can work even when the phone is off, this is because the phone kinda acts like an airtags where enough information can be exchanged securely.
I don’t see any visible lag on 6a. Just some progress animation until images are loaded. Am I missing something?

I will be honest, I feel like all foss software has these issues, I use linux and there are so many devs I cannot really say who is who obviously, I just feel like for a ton of people expressly People of color it might be important to use software that isn’t against your interest.
