I wear a respirator whenever I’m in an indoor public space like a store, and I also don’t spend more time in those spaces than I have to. I go into the store and get what I need, but I generally don’t linger around browsing stuff. That means I probably buy less stuff, which is good for my wallet as well. But politicians hate that. They want us out there spending. That’s why they are trying to play down covid risks. So they hate mask and respirator usage since it reminds others that the virus is still out there.

You ought to wear a respirator (N95) rather than a mask (those baggy blue procedure masks). Respirators help keep you from getting sick.

The biggest demands will come from the browser and its media players, not the OS. An i5 with 4gb RAM will be ok. Anything less will be marginal or worse. The modern web sucks. Did you know that mobile phones are starting to come with cooling fans? OMG.

It is very hard to do that accurately. Fitness watches use accelerometers to detect body movement, pulse measurement etc. and still aren’t great. Real monitoring uses a lot more instruments including EEG. If you think you might need that, ask your Dr about a sleep study.

Micro SD is probably the least reliable but all these media kind of suck. You need redundancy and frequent testing etc. A pain. I think it gets worthwhile when you have enough data to fill several spinny drives so you can set up a RAID. That means at least 20TB these days. 4. What is happening is mostly an attitude problem, it seems. People like you, seeing a code bug, instead of fixing it (or in this case at least recognizing that it should be fixed), go around searching for rationalizations for leaving it unfixed. It being unfixed while Mozilla continues to bloat up the browser with more new crap is instead evidence of Mozilla’s priorities being screwed up.
