Are you in the US? I just tried that for my job and found exactly as many options as expected. I’ll give you 0 guesses how many it was.

If you wait a little while, the digital version can usually be found online for around $80 less than retail.
Same. Also. Now I’m hungry.
We have many options for people who just want to drink a bunch of cheap beer. Bud Light, Miller Light, Coors Light, Natural Light, Milwaukee’s Best Light, the list goes on. Most agree the stuff you can buy in a 24 pack at Walmart isn’t good quality beer.
But places like Dogfish Head, Ardent, Foothills, Bell’s, Cigar City, Oskar Blues, Three Notched, Flying Dog, Elysian, Anchor, Lagunitas and many others produce some great beers.
I saw something like 15 or 20 years ago saying the average “adult” (not in a sexual way) show is designed for 14 year old viewers. Our media has made so much more sense to me since then.
Used to be able to create a list of file path shortcuts that are visible when you right click the file explorer icon pinned to the taskbar. The shortcuts I made in a previous version of windows are still present and functional. But it can’t add new ones. Best it can do is add another file explorer icon for each new shortcut.
You can still drag excel files to an Excel icon pinned to the taskbar, and it adds them to the single list of individual Excel files “pinned” to Excel.
It just doesn’t let you add shortcuts to the pinned file explorer icon anymore. I had a whole workflow based on being able to quickly and easily access a handful of commonly used folders and ms office files. Makes no sense to remove useful functions that already worked.
Same as you. I also fully expected to be overweight. Sort of still do expect that at some point.
That excludes most of us. For example I’m a pricing analyst. Doubt they’d even need me, let alone all the people working retail or customer service positions.
Yeah most of the auto mechanics probably voted for Trump, but a lot didn’t. We have a ton of people working in restaurants, driving for Lyft, etc.
Most people are fucked.
This is what so many don’t understand. Other countries don’t want us. Why would they?
I’ve always been able to vote within 10 min or less. Must vary a lot by location.
Where there’s a cornucopia in the fruit of the loom logo.
That’s clearly just the hackers accessing your mainframe.
Going to get roasted for this, but Alexa devices. The video versions play Netflix, YouTube, Hulu etc and have much better sound than the standard little speaker orb version. They all sync together so you can stream music in each room that has one like having a whole house stereo system.
Being able to verbally add something to the grocery list at any time is a game changer. People aren’t taking advantage of that feature as much as they should IMO.
I just want micro SD and removable batteries again.
Stick Stickly.
I too have had that jingle in my head for 30 years. I will forget my childhood address before forgetting that PO Box.
Anbernic handheld consoles are awesome and inexpensive.
I recommend the RG35XXSP. It’s shaped like a Gameboy Advance SP and plays lots of Dreamcast & N64 games plus everything below that.

$90 with free 1 or 2 day shipping from Amazon
I’ve never seen someone get a break working in a restaurant. Everything else in that story is 100% on brand.
How the cylinder situation from that reddit post was resolved.
Solid advice all around
I only use Lemmy unless Internet search results bring me to a reddit post for an answer to a question. I don’t comment on reddit anymore or even browse it.
