  • Puzzle Heros rpg - this is a turn based match 3 game with diagonals and a time limit to match as many tiles as you can, this powers up your colour coded heros and you use them to defeat/harvest food based enemies to stock your food stalls. Stalls make money, money levels up heros, etc.

It’s a ‘reskin’, albeit a very minorly changed one, of Match Quest, and the art/design is all really well done in an old school 8bit pixel style, with some really beautifully done layered scenery.

It gets a bit grindy and will take forever if you want to win every hero and level them all up to max, but as a casual game to dip into a few times a day to collect profits and loot old levels, and then spend twenty minutes or so playing levels, it’s very fun.

I also recommend Flappy Dragon. It’s a resin of the bird game, I think, idk I never played that one. The physics is fun and well thought out for each dragon and the dragons all have really nice designs.

Oh and it’s probably been mentioned a ton on this thread already but Simon Tatham’s Puzzles is a fantastic app full of puzzles that can be played offline.

  • Flow - if you like cats and beautiful animation.

Dave Made A Maze - is a fun watch with good writing.

Death Of Stalin - will be funny to you if you like British comedy.

Prospect - interesting scifi with Pedro Pascal (who I mistook for Nathan Fillion till I looked the cast up, lmao)

Triangle - well done time travel fuckery

Arq - more time travel fuckery

Primer - yet more time travel fuckery

Edit: pretty sure the title of the post has changed, or I somehow just didn’t notice it fully before? Idk, none of the movies I’ve listed are ‘must watch’ they’re just fun watches. I don’t think any film is really a must watch.

  • Sounds like a great place for meditation.

Pedantic thought experiment side note that is ironically long for a side note:

How is it a void if it contains the ecosystems and consciousness(ess? (Gut biome and the various microscopic skin mites, etc)) of a human body?

That’s a fuck ton of biology, physics, chemistry, philosophy, etc for a space where nothing is supposed to be. Does time also exist there? Because if it didn’t you couldn’t be aware of your self in there, so that would be a problem solved.

If time does exist in this void though, by entering the void you will have changed its nature, it will stop being a void and it starts just being more of you. …And if you still can’t feel anything, I think this is called depression.
