Well, it would really suck for the millions who are in customer service/retail. You’ve essentially made them homeless and struggling even more than they were before.

I wish anyone who has idealistic thoughts of protesting like this, would think things thoroughly. Seems like protesting in general, it’s just about do action now, thinking almost never.

I would inform potential dates that there really isn’t going to be a family for them to meet and that I am probably the last representative of that family. If they ask me if they’re going to have a father-in-law or a mother-in-law, I would tell them it is probably in title only.

The goal is to spare your dates or would-be newlyweds from getting involved with what drama or dysfunctionality your family has gone through. You are doing your date a huge favor.

For me in a way, yes. When I used to read books on a regular basis, I found it more easier to digest if I had nobody or nothing around to make noise. I can deal with small noises like random cracks or a pop here and there. Long as it wasn’t amplified or anything. When I listen to things such as music or take in sound in general, my mind goes everywhere and it can’t focus on the pages of a book.

I always hated it when people try talking to me when louder noise is present and expect me to hear them perfectly. My mind is not focusing on your words, it’s focusing on that obnoxious noise that’s disrupting things.

But according to some of the mods here in the fediverse, you’re AdVoCaTiNg violence as if there is somehow a magical whimsical answer there to solve all of the world’s problems. /s

I am still waiting by the way, for anyone to tell me what is there left to really do to try and tell the most powerful classes in society, to convince them to stop their bullshit. So far, I’ve heard none.

There aren’t a lot of legal ramifications for simply discussing piracy online, other than attracting annoying moralistically conflicted people who’re going to challenge you on the grounds of how acceptable piracy is. I would stick to piracy communities to avoid that.

Don’t be an e-beggar. I wish sometimes pirates would stop catering to these people who beg and beg all of the time and not even give much of a thank you. They have a good chance of coming back and just asking for more things because they’re too lazy to do the work themselves, subtracting all of the inability to do so for whatever reason.

Make your pirating patterns inconsistent on purpose, don’t download massive amounts of data that will make you a blip on the radar and of course a VPN.

You’re not making a lot of sense here. And I don’t really see where the simple act of discussing digital piracy would warrant it illegal. Now actually pirating is illegal and varies from person to person and location to location. It is something you just do and should already accept the risky circumstances involved in doing so.

I think asking for donations is a lot less attention grabbing, than it is getting advertisers, which is what the point of donations is for, is to prevent having to resort to advertising.
