But that’s the thing, the story isn’t boring.
I can’t think of anywhere in Europe where it is legal to smoke in restaurants.
Also the rest of your descriptions sound not based on actual personal experience but on memes from the internet.
That’s not “Nordic countries”, that is just Sweden.
Depends on the country. There are countries where everything is covered.
Again, they calculated the price at the checkout, so they could also have done it for the price tag. It is not a valid excuse in the slightest. Its only purpose is to obfuscate the actual price of an item and confuse the customer about the actual price of an item.
That is a nonsensical excuse. If they can calculate the price at the checkout then they can calculate it when they are putting up the price tags.

That is mainly specifically a UK problem. Most homes in Europe are pretty decently to excellently insulated.
I don’t see why brick and mortar houses should be extra susceptible to those problems if build well. But of course Europe didn’t use to see the same extremes of heat and humidity as the US does, perhaps it will become a problem in the future.
Deadwood. It is still a classic top 5 HBO show, but unfortunately with so much wasted potential and unexplored storylines. I do rewatch it from time to time, but the knowledge of what could have been is kinda detracting from my full enjoyment of it.
Boardwalk Empire. It got more seasons than Deadwood at least, and also had a final episode which kinda wrapped things up, but it was so rushed and contrary to the general pace of the show that it is very jarring to watch.
Yeah, I think OP is asking strictly from a US perspective (although being USdefaultist by not specifying it), because I can’t really think of any large European city which doesn’t have realitve large parks in the city center or next to it.
