Where’s the circle of? I have a Nvidia graphics card and I can’t switch to steam?

It’s my understanding this is pretty much a non-issue now. Try a Bootable USB of Garuda Dragonized Gaming (which is an Arch based distro designed for gaming) and test if it works. You’d be surprised at how easy things are.

The only problem with Nvidia is the lack Broadcast and Shadowplay. Not having their noise cancelling is unfortunate, but OBS can replace shadowplay. I know some people seem to have issues with Nvidia on Linux, but I believe they are a pretty small minority.

I have a bunch of weird issues when running Linux on my Lenovo Legion 5 Pro with an RTX3060. So unfortunately I won’t be switching until the situation improves.

It’s not even about gaming either, virtually all 2D animations are like 2fps, no matter the drivers or power management. I wasted days on this with some guys from the Lenovo Legion Linux discord server, and some with exactly the same laptop don’t have the same issue, but windows runs fine.

It’s a real shame that, maybe on the next laptop!

Mm, that is unfortunate! I personally keep a Windows install around for VR as well, nothing on Linux runs the Quest 3 quite as well as Virtual Desktop.
