Yeah, it almost looks like you’d be able to run things faster than natively on windows, which is why I’m suspicious (not that it’s a lie just that the numbers lack context). It doesn’t say what the numbers represent I think?

Criticism and hate are two different things. I hate windows, I can criticise parts of arch Linux which is so far my favourite OS. Me not liking part of it or the way it works doesn’t mean there’s another version that is completely perfect and I should just shut up and use that. Also no it doesn’t suck, but updating my system and having it break is a problem I should not be having.
But if lots of people use it wrong and break it then maybe it’s too obtuse. I broke one of my applications by upgrading packages. The solution? Install the package again, I thought the package manager would take care of stuff like that but if it’s meant to be me then I think it’s a bad system.
I broke my install by updating it, I get that if you perfectly understand what’s going on then it has no bugs but that’s really not my experience. A lot of the time something will break and it’s easy to say “I should’ve known it was this so it’s my fault” but really if you didn’t expect it to work a certain way and it breaks it’s not a super stable system.
I’d recommend doing it with a game you’re somewhat familiar with then, like Minecraft where the names are always there but not 100% required for playing
I’m sure that takes a lot of patience and understanding, that’s super cool of you.
¡I second this completely! Smoking is so hard to get over and you should be unbelievably proud of yourself for being so strong in doing the right thing for yourself ❤️
Sorry grandad
I agree but it’s very unfortunate considering graphics cards are so expensive to replace nowadays so if you already have an Nvidia card then you’re kinda screwed.
NGL green lantern the movie kinda slapped when I was a kid. I got really into comics partially because of it.
My Rx 580 is by far the best thing I could’ve possibly bought when I did, 8gb vram and I bought it for less than I could sell it for now, and I bought it right before the semiconductor shortage so it was hella cheap and I still use it 6 years later.
I love that English has a way of marking nouns/verbs in a sentence but I hate that when written it’s completely erased (although sometimes a comma can help) “The old man the ship” threw me for like 5 minutes before I realised that man can be a verb.
I would say English has the least variety in terms of accent, though stardardization can definitely be important (regional British English from old people can be super annoying if English isn’t your native language)
I think mandatory care is the way to go, if the government knows that you have an addiction it seems silly to do anything but make sure you have the tools to quit and have no option but to quit. People will do whatever is convenient, path of least resistance and all, there’s just no incentive for an addict to report themselves if they’re gonna be thrown in prison for it.
My great/granddad/uncle’s woodworking tools and hammer. For my 17th birthday he just gave me a ton of them and I couldn’t have been happier, they’re made of really nice brass and spruce I think and they work wonders. Mfer says it’s not worth much and proceeded to give me a tungsten carbide (world’s sharpest alloy) plane that I maintain to this day. Also Beaver craft tools from Ukraine hold up pretty well and funnily enough come with a plaster because they’re goofy goobers.
Had a teacher tell some students that it’s rude to speak a foreign language in school (an international school)
Yeah it’s weird to see butterknives on public sites being confiscated as they’re clearly a dangerous weapon. But surprisingly knife crime is really low compared to most of the world (yes I mean America)
As everyone has said, lossless compression might not have great ratios, but if it’s still worth it I recommend dwarfs as it creates read only mountable filesystems with minimal setup https://github.com/mhx/dwarfs
