Very pretty

Samsung really wants to be Apple. Making it one of the worst Android phones in terms of ‘doing your own thing with it’
For sure.
At some point, your services could easily warrent it. If you learn it early, it makes it much easier to organize your services and share them with others if you decide to.
Also, if you do decide to use a domain name, you probably won’t be able to use it internally to your network. If you use Adguard, you can use DNS rewrite to only direct your traffic to your server when you’re in your network.
Also, personally, I use nginx, but I’m more than happy to give you any advice on setup or reverse proxy.
I know you didn’t want to, but I’ll bet two navidrome instances will be faster and lighter than JF or Plex.
You can disable downloading if your music is copyrighted. Or a layer for copy left of someone tries to take credit.
I don’t think you’re supposed to host music you don’t have the rights to. I think you’re supposed to post your own music
I’ll need to looking into what s3 is, if it’s someone to consider.
Thank you!
Linux on mobile If that’s your thing https://linmob.net/
Something to do with firmware. I just follow the instructions
I read on the droidian Matrix that the 8 and 8 pro were ported. You might ask there?
Also, no instructions. The droidian installer was pretty straightforward. Downgrade to the last Android 10 and run it.
How does ente photos compare to immich?
I had the OnePlus 8, and I fully agree. 13 was a huge improvement over 12, so I did eventually just move on. But only because I knew I was switching phones.
I bought a pixel.
He actually said that it was a late prototype, then went on to list the things fairphone said had changed between his unit and the final product.
Then added that nothing he experienced should’ve been impacted by the slight changes they made.
If it’s not crazy far out of date, and you can still get app updates and Google services updates, you’ll be mostly fine.
A big part of security is limiting your exposure. If you know how to prevent any connection to anything other than your server and probably Google for updates, that would be a great help.
10 years ago was the time to start, too.
Imagine a Linux-like OS for mobile as a reasonable 3rd mobile operating system. People would run it and seem weird like when people run Linux on their laptop nowadays. 1-2% market share. Basically nothing is native to it but a handful of open source apps, but waydroid would be more complete. That would be beautiful.
Shoot. Imagine a reasonably new phone running something Linux with a shell laptop that lets you properly converge. Linux has the best ARM support because basically anything can be complied.
AI is broad enough that it does include those features.
But it’s probably referring to machine learning.
The point is getting adoption. Especially in the US, where people actually use iPhone, no one wants to download a second app because iMessage is ‘good enough’ 99% of the time.
Google got jealous of iMessage and remade iMessage, but Android with the promise of making it more open.
They haven’t followed through on ‘more open’ until just now.
Rcs officially works on 2 apps. iMessage still has just 1.
But hopefully Rcs will actually become open in the future. Allowing anyone to make an Rcs app, like they can with SMS
I used to love Bryant Gardener when he was The Linux gamer.
But since the announcement of the steam deck, his view has narrowed far too much. He hasn’t made a non deck video in like a year.
Thinking about buying a nexdock, when and if they ever release ChromeOS for Android.
If I bought one now, would my pixel 8p be totally useless
