I don’t really agree. Stalin’s thoughts can be summed up in his synthesis of Marx and Lenin. There isn’t a “Stalinism” separate from Marxism-leninism, but his contribution to MLism was vital.

I also don’t really agree that Dengism is a thing. It’s a convenient shorthand Maoists use to describe modern China, but I don’t think Deng saw his contributions as separate from SWCC.

Also also, I don’t think you can fairly characterize modern Maoism as Mao’s interpretation of MLism.

You clearly aren’t interested in interacting with hexbear in a pleasant way. Why shouldn’t the mod remove your comments? And why shouldn’t a volunteer enjoy what they’re doing? They still gave a reasonable reason for the removal.

If you’re trying to paint them in some negative light, this is absolutely the mildest and corniest example.

My issues with “Xi as Winnie the Pooh” center around the way it’s presented in the Western internet. Xi is often depicted with harshly yellow skin, and with comically slanted eyes.

To be clear, I’m trying to communicate that it’s considered racist/bigoted by Lemmy.ml’s mods, and that’s the reason the user was banned.

While I see it as bigoted, I understand that it’s commonly used in lemmy.world (where we are) and I’m not going to police it’s use, dunk on the user using it, or report it the way I would in .ML, Lemmygrad, or Hexbear.

The fediverse is an ideologically shared space, and I’m doing my best to reasonably interact on other instances!
