I hate all and every money based questions. Like “Whut wuld u do if $XXXX appeared in your bank account tomorrow?” or “BAM, You’re a millionaire, what would you do with the money?” or “If you had $XXXX, how much would that change your life?”
Like, come on, unless I’m given a large sum - then I won’t answer. It just gets tiring seeing the same old answers of people saying they’d do good wonders to fluff their humbleness or there’s people who’d buy a million rubber balls if given the chance or anything.
“Why are you naked?”
“And how did you get in here?”
„Why are you doing this that way?“
Because I obviously don‘t know any other way to do it? Just tell me how to do it better and stop asking me questions that make me feel dumb. Idk why this triggers me tho.
The only moments I ever ask this, is when their way of doing it also has its pros, or looks like it does
What if the other person is doing it that way because of some special reason I wasn’t aware of. Just because their way seems harder to me doesn’t mean the easier way is even available to them. What if they don’t have the right tool for the job? What if they do, but the the tool is broken, badly designed or something? What if the situation is somehow unique and using the normal tool would be dangerous, annoying, slow or something like that? That’s why it’s nicer to ask before giving your advice.
Once you understand the situation better, you can potentially give better advice or even shut up and keep on moving.
This person “Why do you do it that way?”s.
